The National Institutes of Health has announced that Stirling Ultracold President and CEO Neill Lane has been selected to present details on the company’s new energy efficient ultra-low freezer at the NIH International Conference “Sustainable Laboratories: Choosing the Right Equipment” in December, 2012. The Conference is scheduled at the Natcher Conference Center Auditorium, NIH Campus, Bethesda , MD, December 13-14 from 8:00am to 5:30pm.
Because the focus of this year’s conference is sustainable laboratory equipment, Lane will present details on the company’s new line of energy-efficient ultra-low temperature freezers, along with independent test data corroborating significant how the Stirling Ultracold technology is leading to widespread advantages in both economics and sustainability objectives associated with high-volume ultra-low temperature storage of biological materials and other lifeforms.
According to Lane, “The NIH conference offers an opportunity to introduce Stirling Ultracold freezers to leading scientists, principal investigators, researchers and healthcare providers who must manage research from the bench level to large-scale biorepositories. We will outline the economic impact of the Stirling Ultracold product line its benefits as they extend to all levels of an enterprise including throughout academic, clinical, industrial, pharmaceutical, biotechnology and the global laboratory planning and architectural community.”
Lane holds a ME degree from the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa and has worked in the clean energy eld his entire career. He served as the President and CEO of Sunpower, Inc. for 10 years where he led the development of the company’s manufacturing capability and established Sunpower’s worldwide licensing activities.
